Test your skills against your fellow apprentices!
The contest is available to apprentices who meet the minimum requirements in the Plumbing, Steamfitting, HVACR & Welding trades, attending classes in their 2nd through 5th year. To advance at the State level, apprentices must be at least in their 3rd year in the Spring 2026 semester. The winner from each trade will participate in the 2026 California State Apprentice Contest. Winners from State will move onto the Regional competition. Winners from the Regionals will compete in the International competition in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
